Keeping the beats rolling for all our summer dates will be our resident DJ Liam Wachs (Well Rounded Housing Project, LNUK and Lovesick Recordings). Liam cut his teeth DJing as a resident and promoter for several club nights in Leeds while he was at University there. He loves and collects records from across the whole spectrum of music, and his passion has led him to play all over the country as well as Croatia, Ibiza and America. He currently lives in North London and as well as DJing as a resident for Flux is also working on a live project that will be unveiled in September.
In addition, each event will also include a very special live performance from The Oxbox! Originally from Swansea, South Wales and tutored in the ways of singing and beatboxing in Oxford while performing with internationally acclaimed acappella group “Out of the Blue” (www.ootb.org.uk). “I started experimenting with live looping in 2012, creating acappella tracks using nothing but a 10 year old guitar effects pedal and a makeshift loopstation!”
